Redeveloping Scott Base for the future

The redevelopment of Scott Base is the largest project ever undertaken by Antarctica New Zealand. It is a complex multi-year project that will significantly underpin New Zealand’s strategic interests in Antarctica. The purpose of the Scott Base Redevelopment is to fully address known risks and issues with the current, aging infrastructure and provide a fit for purpose, safe, and environmentally sustainable research base that will support world-leading Science and New Zealand’s physical presence in the Ross Sea region of Antarctica for decades to come.

In this webinar, Senior Project Manager Simon Shelton and Design Director Hugh Broughton of the Scott Base Redevelopment project team will take you through the design of the building proposed for Pram Point.
