Before Departing Scott BaseAll events are required to submit an Operations and Infrastructure Event Feedback Form (see downloads below for template) – so that your feedback can be discussed before leaving Scott Base and any pertinent actions acted upon immediately for the benefit of future events.
Returning to New ZealandOn return from Antarctica you will be transported to the International Terminal at the Christchurch International Airport and go through normal international immigration and customs procedures. You will be met by the Antarctica New Zealand logistics section staff who can provide transport for you. You may also proceed to Antarctica New Zealand warehouse and hand back any Antarctica New Zealand kit.
Post-Antarctic Reporting RequirementsAll events supported by Antarctica New Zealand are required to submit the following reports:
We also ask for some images from your event for Antarctica New Zealand's Pictorial collection. More information on this request can be found in the guidelines of the science and event report template below.
Besides the Operations and Infrastructure Event Feedback Form that should be submitted before you leave Scott Base at your outbrief, all reports and images are due four weeks after your return from Antarctica.
