Antarctica New Zealand has a set of policies specific to Scott Base. A copy of the Scott Base Policy Manual is available to view in the Antarctica New Zealand offices and at Scott Base. It is your responsibility to be aware of the contents of these policies and how they affect you.

Our medical policy is in line with the requirements of the Health Information Privacy Code (1994) and our overall activities meet the requirements of Health & Safety Act 1992.

It is important that people travelling to Antarctica as part of the New Zealand Antarctic programme are thoroughly familiar with these documents. Copies of these documents are available from Antarctica New Zealand on request.
