Stable isotope analysis of basal ice facies in dry-based glaciers in Victoria Land

The aim of this project was to understand the physical and chemical composition of basal ice derived from dry-based glaciers in the Dry Valleys. Isotopic analysis of basal ice and observations of the physical characteristics of ice facies, sediments and landforms are applied to understand the nature of basal ice mechanics.
