2012 Annual Antarctic Conference - Looking to the Future 4-5 October 2012, Christchurch, New Zealand
ICEFEST, the New Zealand Antarctic Festival (Christchurch -14 September to 14 October 2012) is a celebration of everything Antarctic and will communicate a range of Antarctic topics including politics, arts, science, tourism resource use and protection. The 2102 Annual Antarctic Conference is opportunity to have scientists communicate with the public as part of ICEFEST.
2012 Antarctica New Zealand's Annual Antarctic Conference 4-6 July 2012, Hobart, Australia - CANCELLED
Antarctica New Zealand will organise a substitute for the annual Antarctic conference in conjunction with the New Zealand ICEFEST Antarctic festival. ICEFEST will be held in Christchurch and will run from the 14th September to the 14th October 2012. It will be a celebration of everything Antarctic and will communicate a range of Antarctic topics including politics, arts, science, tourism resource use and protection. At this stage we are planning to hold an Antarctic science event on the 4th and 5th of October and hope to use this opportunity to have scientists communicate with the public as part of ICEFEST. We will communicate more details about the conference as they emerge.
