This information is provided in accordance with New Zealand's obligations under Article III (1)a and Article VII (5) of the Antarctic Treaty to provide information on New Zealand's activities in Antarctica, and also under Article 17 of the Protocol on Environmental Protection to the Antarctic Treaty.
