RICE ICE CORES RETURNING TO NEW ZEALAND

The first of the Roosevelt Island Ice Cores are returning to New Zealand. Over two summer seasons the team hopes to recover up to 750 m deep ice core to determine the stability of the Ross Ice Shelf and West Antarctica in a warming world. The full story can be found here.
