ICE SHEETS AND SEA LEVEL RISE

The shape of future sea level rise is being modelled by Dr Dan Zwartz of Victoria University of Wellington’s Antarctic Research Centre.  Rather than a uniform rise in sea level, the reality of thermal expansion of the ocean and the melting of land based ice in Antarctica will have a complex and varying result over the Earth’s oceans.
