The physical and geochemical properties of meltwater ponds during seasonal freeze and thaw, at Bratina Island, Antarctica

The aim of this research was to provide information on the major ion concentrations and thermal conditions that were experienced by microbial life in meltwater ponds on Bratina Island, and therefore in similar ponds in other environments of this kind.
