Soils and hydrology of Cape Hallett, Antarctica

This project has two primary objectives:

1. To complete a detailed soil map of the Seabee Hook area of Cape Hallett and to characterise the ornithogenic soils and other soils from the Cape Hallett area that are not influenced by penguins.
2. To characterise liquid water occurrence and movement in Seabee Hook, noting water source, seasonal water table and ice-cemented permafrost variations, groundwater flow direction and flow speed variations.
