Factors influencing the vocal behaviour of Adélie penguins at Cape Bird, Antarctica
Complex vocal behaviour is a crucial component of individual recognition in colonial seabirds. This research has two main goals. The first involves call development and identification of familial similarities and regional dialects in Adélie penguins. The second goal is to investigate the dynamics of vocal interactions within a penguin colony.
