Returning to NZ & Reporting Requirements

On return from Antarctica you will be transported to the International Terminal at the Christchurch International Airport and go through normal international immigration and customs procedures. You will be met by the Antarctica New Zealand logistics section staff who can provide transport for you. You may also proceed to Antarctica New Zealand warehouse and hand back any Antarctica New Zealand kit.

Post-Antarctic Reporting Requirements
All events supported by Antarctica New Zealand are required to submit the following reports within four weeks of their return from Antarctica.

Science Events must supply:
Immediate Science Report (4 hard copies + 1 electronic copy)
Logistics Report (4 hard copies + 1 electronic copy)
Metadata form (electronic copy)

Non-Science Events (eg.Media, Artists, Educators) must supply:
Event Report (4 hard copies + 1 electronic copy)
Logistics report (4 hard copies + 1 electronic copy)

We also ask for some images from your event for Antarctica New Zealand's Pictoral collection. More information on this request can be found in the science and event report guidelines below.
